Pavers A way to help fund public art in Vadnais Heights is to purchase a paver for you or your family’s personal inscription. The paver will be installed in City Hall’s south plaza. Your paver purchase is a tax deductible gift.

Picnic Shelters The Community Park Pavilion

Two facilities are available. The Community Park 30' x 84' picnic shelter, located at Community Park, has picnic tables and electrical outlets. (This is the shelter used for the Heritage Days Booya.) A playlot, restrooms, and ample parking are close by. The shelter seats approximately 150 people.
The second facility is the Community Park Pavilion, a brick two-story building located next to the Community Park fields. The pavilion seats about 50 people, and has picnic tables, electrical outlets, and restrooms.

Post Office
The most conveniently located U.S. Post Office is at 1056 Highway 96, just north of Culver’s on Centerville Road.
Press Publications – Vadnais Press
The Vadnais Press is the City’s official newspaper. In addition to news items covered by the reporters, the newspaper includes the City’s regular column, “News & Views”.
Vadnais Press is delivered without charge once a week. Press Publications encourages and appreciates paid subscriptions.

Recycling
Recycling is picked up every Wednesday, at the same time and by the same hauler as your trash.
Recycling is picked up by your trash hauler. Please refer to the Trash Service section for information on haulers.
To recycle, all you need to do is separate your recyclables into two categories.

Rotary Club
Formed in 1991, the Vadnais Heights Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, which focuses on peace and people's understanding of the world, and helping the world's disadvantaged.
A notable program is the initiative to eradicate polio by 2010. Since the beginning of this initiative, approximately 95 percent of the world's countries have wiped out polio.
There are many other education and leadership opportunities spearheaded by the Rotary. Rotary programs, such as student exchanges, have long histories. The Vadnais Heights Rotary has hosted four students for full school years.
In addition, the Vadnais Heights Rotary is involved in community programs, such as assisting local schools, sponsoring community ice cream socials, and Heritage Days events.
